The sports hall has an indoor climbing wall and abseiling facility which is used by schools and groups and was originally opened by the famous climber, Chris Bonnington.

The are climbs to suit all ages and abilities and our instructors will encourage even the most unsure participant.

There is no formal climbing or abseiling club or organisation based at the Centre but individual, experienced climbers may hire the wall. This facility is ideal for winter training purposes and provides for one of the most enjoyable and exciting activities at the Centre.
